MBTI is an interdenominational international Bible training institute in Mauritius preparing church members, leaders, pastors and cross-cultural workers by refining character, increasing knowledge, and equipping with skills for mature Christ-like ministry.
We have both Mauritian and expatriate lecturers suitably qualified to exercise their teaching gift from a range of denominations to transform the mind, stir the heart and motivate the will with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Theology
Our Christian doctrines are the most marvellous in all the world. We most know them, teach them and defend them. Join us as we biblically introduce the central doctrines of the historical Christian faith. This unit is bursting with knowledge to impact and change your life.
Bible Interpretation
A most critical need is to be able to read and interpret the Bible well. It is an essential skill for Bible teachers, pastors and evangelists. Join us as we return to the historical context, consider the Big Story and sharpen our exegetical skills as we work through the book of Philippians.
Biblical Preaching
Today there are many voices. Today we live in a world of information overload. How do we build upon our good Bible interpretation skills in order to communicate effectively the Gospel and the Word of God, and be heard? Join us to improve the art form of preaching.
Apologetics: Defend the Faith!
Does God exist? If so, which God? Be completely amazed and convinced of the foundations to our Christian faith. Join us as we discover with certainty why we believe what we believe, and learn how to defend your faith against attacks from other worldviews.
Leadership
Christian leadership is greatly needed today, both in the church and in the world. God seeks the appointment of shepherds for his flock. Join us as we explore the great calling of servant leadership and face the challenge of putting into practice godliness as we lead relationally.
Discipleship: Personal and Ministry Formation
How do we grow as disciples of Jesus. How do we become more Christ-like? How do we then in turn disciple others? This challenge of conversion to maturity is a calling for all of us and we need to be encouraged to practice discipleship in order to bring glory to our Master we are serving.
Jesus and the Gospels

Old Testament for Today
Some have put aside the Old Testament as irrelevant. But we maintain that the Old Testament is fundamental in understanding God and Jesus. Join us for a look at the most important stories, men and women, and theology of the Old Testament that lays the foundation for our Christian faith.

Eastern College Australia
With our partnership with Eastern College Australia, MBTI students can study online towards a Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology, or use these online Units offered by Eastern to contribute towards our MBTI Certificate or Diploma.
Library Access
The MBTI library is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The student can access the theological library, borrow books and access other resources that are available. We also have some books for sale. Students are welcome to work on site.
